MORE BABY PEACOCKS HATCHING

This morning the three eggs under the white peahen hatched. The dark peachick hatched first and jumped out of the nest (or was pushed?) and came right under Farmer Mary’s bedroom window where it peeped so loudly Farmer Mary came outside (on a rainy day) to investigate.  When she found the other two white ines newly hatched she took them to raise indoors. Baby peachicks simply do not survive well on the ground with their mom. See some videos and more pictures at winterpast_farm on Instagram or at Winterpast Farm on FB.

PLEASE READ “your visit” at www.winterpast.org which explains parking, admission and gives a detailed list of food you can bring to feed the animals.
