From left, nursing goat moms BUTTERCUP, PRIMROSE and FRANCES are enjoying a yummy variety of fresh greens donated today from Whole Foods to help Farmer Mary feed all the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
Whole Foods sent a team of volunteers this afternoon who helped Farmer Mary start fixing up the pond which will be open for turtle and fish feeding soon. The pond is an up cycled in ground swimming pool that Farmer Mary has been naturalizing for several years and which is home to many former pet turtles and fish who have been donated to Winterpast Farm.
