Farmer Mary’s daughter gave her a fake Dachshund dog for Christmas. She said it was so Farmer Mary wouldn’t be sad one day when BARNEY, who is going on 17, isn’t at Winterpast Farm any longer. The new dog we are calling LITTLE BARNEY and he is amazingly lifelike, especially as he is wearing one of BARNEY’s winter coats. Other dogs have been extremely confused by him.
When you visit Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC be sure to look in the window of Farmer Mary’s house and you will spy LITTLE BARNEY.
